One-Eyed Monster

(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Liberation Entertainment announces the release of their latest horror-comedy’ ”One-Eyed Monster” starring adult film actors Ron Jeremy, Veronica Hart and mainstream film and television actress Amber Benson. The DVD is due out nationwide on April 28th. The movie is Rated R and reunites Ron Jeremy and Veronica Hart almost 30 years to the date since they first acted together. The movie also stars longtime Russ Meyer veteran and ubiquitous character actor Charles Napier.

”One-Eyed Monster” is a comic homage to ”Alien” and ”The Thing” where the cast and crew of an adult film are stranded in a blizzard and must band together against a mysterious and deadly alien which has possessed a runaway part of the lead actor played by Ron Jeremy. With the monster on a killing spree, the race is on to trap and destroy it before it seeds the planet.

”One-Eyed Monster” marks the feature film debut of Adam Fields who has previously collaborated with his brothers Jordan and Scott (short ”Script Doctor,” ”Student Affairs”).

The film also stars: Carmen Hart, Jeff Denton, Caleb Mayo, Jason Graham, Bart Fletcher, Jenny Guy, John Edward Lee, and Frank Noel.

”One-Eyed Monster” is the mainstream acting debut for Carmen Hart, a former Wicked Pictures contract star, and highly popular adult film and entertainment star.

DVD bonus features include an in-depth conversation between Ron Jeremy and Veronica Hart about the good old days of porn; audio commentary by the Fields Bros., out-takes, a behind the scenes look at the job of a dick wrangler, and deleted scenes.

”One-Eyed Monster” marks Adam Fields’ feature film debut as a director. He is a frequent collaborator with his brothers Jordan and Scott, and together they directed the award-winning short ”Script Doctor”, which debuted at the Shorts International Film Festival in New York. In addition, the brothers wrote, produced, and directed the pilot ”Student Affairs” for Imagine Entertainment and have sold feature and pilot scripts to Paramount, .TV Films, Happy Madison, Fox, Fx, and Comedy Central. Adam is also a composer, having written the original score for the WB’s acclaimed drama, ”Dawson’s Creek”. Other music credits include ABC Family’s drama series, ”Beautiful People”, Lifetime’s ”Dawn Anna”, along with independent features ”Lovelife”, ”the Sky is Falling”, and ”Meeting Daddy.”

”One-Eyed Monster” was written by Jordan, Scott and Adam Fields.

Amber Benson – Laura ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Amber Benson co-wrote and directed the animated web-series, ”Ghosts of Albion”, (with Christopher Golden) for the BBC. The duo then novelized the series in two books for Random House. Her first solo novel, ”Death’s Daughter”, will be published by Penguin in 2009 with a children’s book for Simon and Schuster called, ”The New Newbridge Academy”, to follow later that year. She has also written, produced, and directed three feature films, including her latest, ”Drones”, which she co-directed with Adam Busch and will be released later this year.

Charles Napier – Mohtz Charles Napier made his feature film debut in Russ Meyer’s ”Cherry, Harry and Racquel!” (1970). Napier went on appearing in other Meyer movies, including the homicidal Harry Sledge in ”Supervixens” (1975) and also became a regular playing smaller roles for Jonathan Demme, most notably the guard whose face is eaten by Hannibal Lechter in ”Silence of the Lambs” his granite-like jaw and wide, gate- like grin have contributed to his many memorable portrayals of tough guys, notably the scheming intelligence officer up against Sylvester Stallone in ”Rambo: First Blood Part II” (1985) and the short-tempered front man of the Good Ole Boys in ”the Blues Brothers” (1980), where he delivers the masterful ‘corn on the cob’ line. He was most recently seen on ”Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

Jason Graham – Jonah Jason Graham is currently starring in the motion picture ”Sister’s Keeper”, directed by Kent Faulcon, and can also be seen in the movie, ”Jack Rio.” On the small screen, Jason has appeared in television commercials for McDonalds and Cadillac CTS, and Southwest Airlines, episodic dramas ”7th Heaven”, ”Shark”, ”All My Children”, as well as an upcoming episode of CSI: Miami. Other acting credits include supporting roles in ”Follow the Stars Home”, ”Dante’s Cove”, and ”the Trip”.

Caleb Mayo – T.J. Caleb Mayo is a classically trained actor from Marblehead, Massachusetts. He graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where his primary academic foci were Shakespeare and Philosophy. Caleb currently lives in Los Angeles where, in addition to his acting work, he writes drama, fiction, and internet comedy.

Veronica Hart – Veronica Veronica was a highly respected adult film star of the late 70’s and early 80’s, often regarded as the best actress of this genre. She successfully transitioned to parts in such mainstream fare as ”Boogie Nights”, ”Magnolia”, and ”Six Feet Under”. She is also a highly successful adult film director and producer.

Jeff Denton – Jim Jeff has been busy in the last year and a half in TV and film. He filmed CSI NY just prior to ”One Eyed Monster” and then moved on to a sci-fi thriller called ”Transmorphers”. Immediately following that he filmed ”Dirty Sexy Money”, then on to a pilot he helped put together called ”Quitters” which made it into the 2008 Independent Television Festival. Most recently, Jeff flew to South America to film a guest spot on a new show called ”Mental”, and screen tested for a new pilot on Spike TV called ”Back Nine”.

Bart Fletcher – Lance Originally from Houston, Texas, Bart has appeared on ”Everybody Hates Chris”, ”Veronica Mars”, ”Untold Stories of the Er”, and ”General Hospital”, along with several independent films.

Jenny Guy – Wanda Along with ”One-Eyed Monster”, Jenny’s most recent film appearances include ”Fast Glass”, ”Fun World”, and ”the Raven”. She can also be seen in the upcoming movie ”Off the Ledge”.

John Edward Lee – Rock John Edward Lee’s television appearances include CSI:NY, Criminal Minds, Bones, and the upcoming Sci-Fi Channel movie ”WarWolves”, scheduled to air this spring. John recently returned from Bangkok, Thailand where he starred in the lead role of the feature film ”the Lazarus Papers” opposite Danny Trejo and Bai Ling. John studied theater at the University of Houston with Pulitzer Prize winning playwrights Lanford Wilson and Edward Albee.

Frank Noel – Bus Driver After retiring from the fire department (27 yrs.), Frank moved to the LA area to pursue a life long dream of an acting career. He has since worked on two features. ”Revamped” in the role of Special Agent Fred Stevens, and ”One-Eyed Monster” He’s also had two co-starring roles on episodic television: CBS TV ”Without a Trace”, in the role of Luke Ryder, and Fox TV’s ”House M.D.”, in the role of Hal.

Carmen Hart – A Wicked Pictures contract star, Carmen is a highly popular adult film and entertainment star, acting in numerous films and earning several AVN nominations. She has made a successful transition to the world of exotic dancing, earning the title of 2007’s Exotic Dancer of the Year. ”One-Eyed Monster” is her mainstream acting debut.
