(VAN NUYS, CA) — Following the recent announcement by adult studio Pink Visual that the company was offering discounted access to some of its websites as a humorous response to Comcast issuing credits to affected customers, some media outlets have erroneously reported that the footage that interrupted the Super Bowl was from a Pink Visual production.
The footage in question was, in fact, from a Fusxion production entitled ”Wild Cherries 5” that was being broadcast on the Club Jenna-affiliated ”Shorteez” channel offered by Spice Entertainment.
”Our promotion was simply a ‘wink’ playing off the Comcast offer, and making light of the whole situation,” said Kim Kysar, brand and product manager for Pink Visual. ”While the incident was regrettable, we felt there was humor to be found in it, and an opportunity to expose our content to a new audience, naturally.”
Kysar also unequivocally asserted that her company had nothing whatsoever to do with the interruption of the February 1 Super Bowl broadcast.
”We aren’t James Bond villains,” said Kysar. ”We don’t have any desire to take over anybody else’s broadcast, much less the technical capability to do so, and we don’t advocate exposing viewers to pornography without warning and consent.”
Pink Visual’s $10 off promotion continues through Friday, March 6.
