Lobo Bocanegra, Jack of All Trades. Few people in the Industry have crossed boundaries and managed their off-screen lives with the style and grace of Lobo Bocanegra. The star of multiple Kink.com sites wears many hats – in addition to modeling and guest directing, Lobo has a thriving personal training business and has recently added Certified Massage Therapy to his acumen.
Lobo (a nickname from his Creole/Brazilian and Native American roots) became acquainted with adult entertainment through the club scene in the San Francisco bay area. After repeatedly hearing people assume he already worked in the field, he began by doing nude modeling for art classes. From there, he moved on to print and ultimately into film.
Since then, he’s worked for the likes of Buck Angel, Joey Silvera, Nacho Vidal, Nick Miello and Asian Diva Girls as well as Kink.com sites Training of O, TS Seduction, and Men in Pain, Midnight Encounters, Public Disgrace, Hogtied and Pissing.com.
Lobo is very open sexually and blends work between both realms seamlessly. He also is a switch in terms of BDSM predilections although he states ”I Dominate ninety percent of the time… I’m excited by powerful women.” Lobo stresses in his home life, he finds powerful women ”very erotic.”
Bocanegra enjoys the psychology of his open lifestyle, referring to it as a celebration of physicality. He prefers work in the fetish realm due to it’s tendency to display greater care, concern and respect for the models who perform in the genre.
Lobo anticipates a future where the divides between gay, bisexual and straight porn will diminish, as well as between racial lines. It’s important according to Bocanegra to ”be honest to you(rself), stay true…if you are involved with something you aren’t comfortable with, the results are glaring.”
In the future, Lobo Bocanegra plans to move into producing and developing new sites within the alternative field.
The worst hotel room Lobo has stayed in is a doozie. The Calle Rojo in Tijuana features buckets for toileting and no sinks. The hygiene, well…left a little to be desired. He’d gone there with a friend who’d just been dumped.
Blowfish. At a Chinese wedding. That’s Bocanegra’s assessment of the strangest food he has ever eaten, stating ”I didn’t die.”
