Amber Lynn, who was the very first XRCO Heart-on Girl back on Valentine’s Day, 1985, has again been chosen for that task at the 25 year anniversary XRCO Awards Show. The Heart-on Girl brings the one-of-a-kind wooden heart award plaques to the MC.
Amber is thrilled with the honor! She writes: ”Steve, Exciting News! I got a call from ”Dirty Bob” [Bob Krotts of the XRCO] and he proposed that I join in the show at this year’s XRCO as the official Heart-on Girl! I am sooo HAPPY to be requested to be a part of the show, and particularly the Heart-on Girl, as I was one of the very first Heart-on Girls ever, back when the show was held at Gazzari’s on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood.”
Past XRCO shows would usually feature an up-and-coming starlet for the honor of Heart-on Girl to give her exposure and help her career. The unique heart-shaped plaque and heart-on girl concepts were conceived by Bill Margold, who when watching the tape of the event recorded 25 years ago stated, ”Was I a pompous ass in THIS thing!” and admitted in the early years there was ”constant fighting” among the organizers to produce a good show.
