Porn Not Recession Proof

(CHARLOTTE, NC) — I remember hearing many times several years ago that Porn is recession proof. I’ve talked to several owners of companies much larger than mine that would beg to differ right about now.

Of course I don’t think any of us would stand a chance of getting a Government Bailout. No, you have to sell bad mortgages, gas-guzzlers, and loan money to folks that don’t have a prayer of paying it back to qualify for bailout.

I was out shopping the other day and I noticed that retail prices for things I went looking for, had not changed. I wanted to upgrade my cell phone and the prices were the same as they were months ago. It really aggravated me that during a time of financial crisis, retailers were laying people off but holding their prices the same as before the ”admitted” recession. I say admitted because while they just recently made the official announcement, most of us knew a year ago that we were in a recession.

Anyway, that being said, it made me realize that I was just as much at fault. My membership rates for my web site were the same as they were a year ago. I also realized that just like us, our fans were involved in this recession as well. None of us would have careers if it were not for our fans.

I myself am lowering the membership dues to my site. At the same time, I’m adding more updates, feeds and other content, as well as gearing up the fan- based contest, Sex and a Movie. I’ve also added an affiliate program so others can make a little money.

Dues were $19.95 for the first 30 days and $14.95 a month after that. For now, and until our country gets out of this mess, I’m lowering the monthly dues to $14.95 for the first month, and $9.95 for every month after that until the membership is cancelled. That’s a lot of porn for .33 cents a day.

Prices will go back to normal when the recession is over. Meanwhile, I truly hope this helps the fans out. Thank you so much for being there, for all of us.
