(CHARLOTTE, NC) — AEBN, the innovator of video-on-demand, is pleased to announce the nominees of its annual VOD Awards, now in its 4th year.
Since 2006, AEBN has recognized the most popular films and stars of the year, as chosen by the viewing habits of the millions of fans who visit the company’s global network of theaters, through the VOD Awards. Nominations are based on minute sales in the theaters in one calendar year, decided upon with a precise, in-house accounting system. The awards cover a wide range of genres, and include recognitions for the Performer of the Year, and Best Newcomer. Special honors are also given for Lifetime Achievement and Studio of the Year.
”The AEBN VOD Awards are always one of the highlights of our year,” says AEBN’s Suzann Knudsen. ”We can’t wait to see the nominees, because there are always surprises — we all have our personal favorites, but since these really are picked by the online viewers, we don’t always know what’s going to show up in the final results.”
Clips from all nominated movies will be available over the next week on the exclusive AEBN VOD Awards channel at PornoTube (www.pornotube.com/channels.php?channelId!1) and winners will be announced in January 2009.
