The 2009 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo

(ENCINO, CA) — The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) will present a day of seminars entirely devoted to digital media on January 10th. These seminars will provide trade attendees with a wide range of knowledge on the various modes of digital delivery and consumption of content and products.

AEE is sponsored by AVN Media Network and produced by Home Entertainment Events. The Expo will take place Thursday January 8 thru Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

”The Internet has become a main avenue of purchase and consumption for adult products and content. Digital seminars offered Saturday, January 10, 2009:

”Staking Your Claim on the Web Part 1: Marketing to Build Traffic and Gain Customers” – 10:30 am-12:00 PM the growth of web-based content and methods of consumption have created a competitive digital domain. Marketing towards customers can be a diverse and complicated task. This session examines the most-effective ways to market to consumers and drive traffic to a website and explores affiliate programs that allow for sharing revenue and expanding audience.

”Staking Your Claim on the Web Part 2: Digital Building Blocks for a Successful Online Business” – 12:30 PM-2:00 PM This session provides information on how to develop successful retail business models for adult product. Panelists will share tips on how to create a website that can provide a visitor with everything they need and generate returning customers. This discussion takes an in-depth look at technical requirements for streaming, video-on-demand (VOD), and product sales from a user-friendly web- base.

”January 2019 – a Look to the Future” – 2:15 PM-3:30 PM What will the industry look like in 10 years? There will always be strong demand for adult content. However, there will be changes in how consumers acquire content. Hear from key industry insiders from several sectors as they gaze down the road ahead over the next decade.

”Staking Your Claim on the Web Part 3: It’s Mine and you Can’t Have it! – Protecting Your Content” – 3:45 PM-5:00 PM This discussion explores various steps to protect a web retailer from digital theft ranging from tube site monitoring to copyright enforcement. Industry leaders provide key points to protect a website from pirates.
