Black, however, was dealt a harsh blow when member Adrianna Nicole (”the Adrianaconda”) received an injury in a recent match and had to be replaced by Cruz, who was serving as an alternate.
Nonetheless, Ultimate Surrender’s director, Matt Williams, is confident that both teams will battle till the end, and the live venue gives them an added incentive. ”it is one thing to lose and get beaten in a closed room with just crew. It is a different thing to lose and be humiliated in front of a live audience. The stakes are higher than they have ever been.”
About 40 members of UltimateSurrender.com were given an opportunity to attend the tag team match based on an announcement in the Ultimate Surrender social networking forums. Ultimate Surrender’s previous live audience shoot was held in front of industry VIPs at the ”Kink in the Kastle” event the closing night of YNOT’s Cybernet Expo.
