Myles’ Weekday Weekend Adventures: Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. This adventure did not take place on a weekend and was quite different in many other ways. I hope that everybody will please read on. I believe that most of the readers will find the article interesting, and it is for a great cause. Now let’s get to it.

We are the World XXX

I spent the days of June 10Th and 11Th on the set of, ”We are the World XXX.” It is a film being made in tribute to the legendary adult film director Henri Pachard, who is losing his battle with cancer and is no longer able to support himself and his wife, (plus the fact that the medical bills are rapidly mounting) and every last single person involved in the production volunteered their time free of charge.

The production of this film was amazing! There were producers and directors working as production assistants, etc. The making of this film also involved some of the best lighting, sound, and cameramen in the business! And it also involved some of the top still photographers in the business including Chris King. Even Wicked Pictures contract superstar, jessica drake was running around assisting Brad Armstrong for a good part of Wednesday’s production schedule and helping with other things.

Trust me when I say, this may have very well been the most star studded cast and crew in the history of the adult entertainment industry! The scenes were shot by several different directors, namely Brad Armstrong, John Stagliano, Amber Lynn, who also produced the project, Paul Thomas, Porsche Lynn, Ron Jeremy and Michael Ninn.

The talent ranged from relative newcomers to legends who have been in the business for over twenty years and included Porsche Lynn, Amber Lynn, Bill Margold, Moxxie Maddron, Manuel Ferrera, Randy Spears, Jada Fire, Troy Halston and his wife Holly Halston, Stephanie Swift, Cara Lott, Ron Jeremy, Georgina Spelvin, who is most famous for her lead role in the original, ”The Devil in Miss Jones,” Jessica D’Vine, Anna Mills and Kandi Hart.

(Circumstances forced me to leave the set Wednesday a few hours before the production was finished, so there may have been some talent that I wasn’t there to see. I was told by a good source that Hershel Savage, Anita Cannibal and Victoria Valentino were going to come in later to contribute their large talents to the project.)

S&M and bondage producer and director Michael Kahn supplied a large collection of whips, chains, equipment, etc., and was assisted by XXX actress Alisha Angel.

The project was catered by Tera Nicole and Tera Cooley and what feasts these two ladies provided!

Among the volunteer production assistants were Adam Wood, Curtis Barker, myself, and others I didn’t know. [Shane Way, Big Tom, Michael Kahn, Lisa Campbell, James Beck, Brian Sebastian, and Charlie Crow were the other PAs -Ed.] The Production-Assistant-in-charge, for lack of a better description, was none other than my illustrious editor-in-chief, Steve Nelson.

My apologies to any and everybody who were involved with the project whom I haven’t named in this article. Unfortunately, things were too fast-paced and hectic for me to be able to run around collecting names and biographies. I did the best I could to be a columnist and an able-bodied but inexperienced production assistant at the same time. (I can only hope that at least one person other than Steve Nelson appreciated my efforts. I know that Steve did.)

I will not attempt to divulge any details about the various scenes or the project in general. However, Steve Nelson plans to write an article about the project here on AINews.com, as well as writing about it in his column in a future issue of Gent Magazine. Therefore, I would recommend that everybody should keep their baby blues peeled and watch for those articles for further information.

I would also recommend that everybody should watch for the release of the finished product resulting from this project and purchase a copy as soon as they become available. I honestly believe it is going to be an excellent film, which should have some humorous dialogue and some great sex scenes, and the proceeds will be donated to help pay Henri’s medical bills!

On a final note, I want to say that I was happy to donate my time for two very long days, even though I had never met Henri. As I have heard it said many times before, ”There, but for the grace of God, go I,” and I would hope that if I were to ever be in so dire a situation as Henri, somebody would think enough of me to want to help.

I had the profound privilege of meeting Henri Tuesday afternoon. In spite of his illness, he visited the set that day and stayed for a few hours. I found Henri to be a very nice and friendly gentlemen in spite of what he is going though. I can only wish that I had that much guts!

Bonsoir et au revoir,

Myles Shaffer
