(WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA) — When Jason Sechrest, host of the popular straight/gay adult megasite JasonCurious.com, launched ”Porn Star of the Week” at Here Lounge in West Hollywood and ”Porn Star Alley” at MJ’s Bar in Silverlake in late 2007, he never dreamt that the events would become the most successful and well attended gay porn nights in the history of Los Angeles nightlife. Now, beginning next week, both venues will feature both shows, totaling four nights a week for Sechrest and his porn star pals.
While ”Porn Star of the Week” offers fans a chance to hang out with their favorite gay porn stars and then watch them dance live on stage, ”Porn Star Alley” provides more of an intimate interview show with Sechrest grilling his porn guest on stage and taking questions from the audience. Both shows will now be featured at Here Lounge and MJ’s Bar, both complete with tons of DVD giveaways and a porn star autograph signing session each week .

Every Thurs: ”Porn Star Alley: Silverlake Edition” – MJ’s Bar, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Every Sun: ”Porn Star of the Week: Silverlake Edition” – MJ’s Bar, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
”The nights are pulling in hundreds of people a week and it’s because of those audience numbers that the venues are asking for more,” says Sechrest. ”It’s a combination of everyone that has made these evenings the most successful in the history of gay porn and L.a. nightlife. It’s the faces in the audience I see every week that are devoted to coming to every event. It’s the porn stars who give it their all every week. It’s the studios that give us the best free giveaways. It’s Anthony Lopez as the promoter who really believed in these nights from day one and gave us time to grow. It’s the DJs like Chi Chi Larue who come out and know that when they’re having fun, we’re having fun. And I’m really nothing more than the glue that brings all of these amazing forces together.”
The schedule for the entire month is listed below, the additional two nights being implemented the second week of June.
