(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Canoga Park-based adult industry powerhouse Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce that contract personalities jessica drake, Kaylani Lei, and Mikayla Mendez have completed their roles in Prospect Pictures’ controversial comedy Barry Munday. The film stars Academy Award® nominee Chloe Sevigny, Malcolm McDowell, Cybill Shepherd, Mae Whitman, Christopher McDonald, Billy Dee Williams, Colin Hanks, and Patrick Wilson.

Described as an ”absurdist fantasy-comedy about a young man who wakes up to discover he’s missing his family jewels.” The film is based on a well- received novel by noted Southern novelist Frank Turner Hollen.

Interestingly, the movie’s bizarre storyline gave the Wicked Girls the opportunity to play themselves – as celebrity judges in a rather unusual talent competition. ”Kaylani, Mikayla, and myself were cast as judges in an air-guitar contest. It was a great experience. The whole crew was wonderful; we even had our own trailer. Shooting went very smoothly, and after we finished our close- ups and singles, we were surrounded by people wanting to take pictures with us! We had a great time and I’m happy that I got to add another mainstream movie to my list of accomplishments as a Wicked Girl!”

Kaylani is quick to concur with jessica regarding the shoot’s upbeat tone. ”I had so much fun! Everyone was great to work with, and the air guitarists themselves were totally hot! We had a good time and I would love to work with these people again.”

Although new to the Wicked family as a full-fledged contract star, Mikayla was a seasoned professional when the cameras rolled, no mean feat when one considers the zany atmosphere on-set. ”The air guitar contest was hilarious! I had to look away at times so I could stop laughing. I definitely had fun on the movie!”

Barry Munday is directed by Chris D’Arienzo, who happily posed for publicity shots with the Wicked ladies in-between takes. Production is slated to continue into the Summer, and the film is currently scheduled for a late Fall 2008 release.
