So, I’m thinkin’ I left off at the night before the first day of the AEE. Tuesday night. I had a playdate lined up, but nowhere to play and no car. I also had on-camera interviews scheduled for noon the next day with Jesse Jane, Shay Jordan, Stoya, Robbie D, Adrianna Lynn, and Katsuni that I was not completely prepared for…what to do, what. to. do.

Harrah’s, $59 clams/night, next door to the Venetian (home of the Expo.) So to Harrah’s I went. Met playdate, did…stuff…prepared for interviews some. Got a minute of sleep. Also…and this is the kind of ”I Love Lucy” shit that happens to me ALL the Time…took the batteries out of my microcassette recorder to give playmate for use in vibrator he double vag’d me with. As far as I know, there they are to this day. Not a biggie, I have a tablet and just took handwritten notes of the next day’s interviews. It was well worth it, heh heh…

Walking into the Expo for the first time was about what I expected. Porn Disneyland. Lots of sights, sounds, people everywhere. Lots of taped over nipples on ammmazing breasts, asses I’d like to wear as a hat, and for some reason Tommy Gunn popping out of doors almost every time I passed by one. Fine by me! Getting to watch that man walk away in tight, faded jeans almost brings tears of joy to my eyes…

Steve, my personal Jesus and boss at AINews and I had about an hour to kill before interview time, so we walked around saying hi to people. When you’re with Steve, this proceeds at a parade like pace, as he knows everybody. I got to meet a few people I’ve known of and held in very high esteem, particularly Bill Margold. I won’t go into how much Bill has done for the Industry, but it’s…a lot. He’s just a really wonderful, down to earth guy, and it cracked me up how much he looked like my eighth grade teacher. Bet the similarities end there.

I also got to meet Debi Diamond for the first time. Ahhhh, Debi. One of those people that you meet and it seems like you’ve known them for a long time already. Just a natural, comfortable lady. Honestly, I knew Debi was famous since Steve was inducting her into the hall of fame Friday night, but had no idea just how much so until after I got home. Hey, give me a break, I’m new around here. So, she’s just Debi to me…this amazing chick who’s also got a real life but loves to be happy and nasty too. Girl after my own heart.

I herded Steve to the Digital Playground booth in time to set up for the interviews, and we got ready to go. When we arrived I saw that one of the people I’ve known for some time online, become very good friends with and started a website together. Roger T. Pipe. In the flesh. Finally! We had a running joke since we have the same birthday that I was going to tackle him and spank him upon first sight, but I chickened out. Besides, he was in the middle of an interview and it’d have been, well, rude. You’ll get yours, Roger, don’t think I have forgotten. Spanky spanky, buddy!

Happily for me, they put us in a kind of ”back room” in the booth, with a couch and some privacy. Much less unnerving than interviewing on camera in front of the assembled crowd. The first interview was Jesse Jane…my massive nervousness immediately dissipated in the face of her warm, comfortable demeanor. I could not have been more impressed with Jesse…never did she seem on script, and even when the weird questions came she answered openly and never seemed flustered. We seemed to fall into more of a conversation mode, only occasionally interrupted by my doofus interview skills. She definitely made a fan out of me.

Shay…first, she’s just beautiful. Second, she’s a very nice person with interesting hobbies and a full life outside the Industry. We talked about her love of cooking and her cooking school experiences – she attended when 18 years old. The rest of the class was comprised of men in their 30’s and 40’s. I’d bet good money the injury rate among those dudes was very very high…fire and sharp knives and that kind of visual distraction have got to be a dangerous mix.

Next…Katsuni. She made me a little nervous again, through no fault of her own. Just sitting next to a person that beautiful and elegant and exotic and…hot…can have that effect on you. Nonetheless, like all the DP contract girls, she is just remarkably friendly and professional. I learned a bit about the ins and outs of working in both the US and Europe, and that the French feed lamb’s brains to their children. More on that in the profile piece in AINews.

NEXT INSTALLMENT: The rest of the interviews, meeting Carrie Moon, and the rest of the day recalled.
