(HILLSBOROUGH, NC) — “First Lady” of adult entertainment, Nina Hartley, attended a recent screening at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University – at least in spirit.
During student film night on November 18, a selection of Hartley’s award-winning “How To” titles from Adam & Eve were shown to the students of this top-ranked university.
Over 300 students attended the Sunday night screening of “Nina Hartley’s Guide To Better Cunnilingus,” “Nina Hartley’s Guide To Couples’ Sexploration,” and “Nina Hartley’s Guide To Better Fellatio.”
With a normal attendance of 40-60 students, Film Division Head Rebecca Pinn considers the turn-out a huge success. Previous adult showings of “Pirates” and “Deep Throat” have garnered similar results for this controversial program that shows one XXX film per semester.
Hartley, who has performed in over 753 adult films, written “Nina Hartley’s Guide to Total sex,” and co-starred in the hit mainstream movie “Boogie Nights,” is pleased to be recognized by Carnegie Mellon.
“My ‘How To’ movies are simply an extension of the knowledge I’ve gleaned over the years in the adult industry,” says Hartley. “To be honored this way, and put in front of an all-new audience of young, educated adults is the highest form of flattery I can imagine.”
