Rob Rotten

Rob Rotten has more ink than a giant squid. The man is simply covered with art, including the top of his cock which reads “Poison”. The tattoo took about 10 to 15 minutes and the process was helped by the physical appearance of the tattoo artist.

Rotten’s skin is as unique as the work he produces. Fusing punk, horror, and porn with the ultimate goal of creating the perfect movie to play at a party, Rob and his brainchild Punx Productions are taking the Industry in a strange and interesting new direction.

A longtime superbike aficionado, Rob’s superbike career was placed on the back burner after an accident that left him with a broken neck, sternum, and ribs. Although he is “back to 100%” Rob was still recovering during the season’s outset and was unable to obtain the sponsorship necessary (one could come out worse after crashing a motorcycle at 160 mph.) This, coupled with the fact that training for the sport is incompatible with some of Rob’s favorite recreational activities, has led him to focus on Punx.

The Punx productions site (punxproductions.com) is a cornucopia of strange and wonderful things. RachelRotten.com showcases the talent of Rob’s ex and sells DVDs of their work. Rotten Pov is in the process of launching, as is the Punx Productions merchandise store. Punx has high quality samples of Rob’s feature length work as well.

Porn of the Dead is a series of vignettes of…fucking undead, undead fucking, however one prefers to think of it. Swallow My Children (BJ vignettes interspersed with Rob himself transformed into a flying sperm), Anal Swine, Scurvy Girls Vol. I and II, and Sperm Sponges are all represented in high quality photo stills and amusingly thorough descriptions.

Rob has a couple of projects currently in the post-production stages. Bongload Girls, a series of stoner vignettes is awaiting a distributor. Little Runaway II and Punk Rock Chicks (not a movie) have both been completed with Rotten’s partner in crime, Jim Powers. Powers is “simply brilliant and a great friend” according to Rob, who wouldn’t want to shoot if [Jim] didn’t run a camera.

The apple of his eye right now is Texas Vibrator Massacre, a full length feature starring Roxy DeVille. Made with a mere forty thousand dollar budget and featuring special effects by the team that did Men in Black and Men in Black Ii, the movie is “better than most B grade horror movies” according to Rotten.

Post production on Texas Vibrator Massacre masterpiece should finish by January 2008. The release date will be anybody’s guess, as Rob’s movies tend to get caught up in the Metro legal department for extended periods of time (Porn of the Dead took one year.)

One thing about Rob Rotten and Punx Productions is certain – creative, high quality and deeply weird productions. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
