Leading adult performers and directors bring their knowledge, expertise and sex appeal to the Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest, appearing on key erotica showcases and panels, set to take place Sept. 15-16 at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, Calif.
Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest has a star-stubbed list of the industry’s elite heading up the showcases and panels. Moderators Eli Cross, Kylie Ireland, Roy Karch, Eon Mckai and Stormy Daniels® will lead entertaining and educational discussions pushing the boundaries of eroticism and entertainment, ultimately redefining the art of erotica.
The five outstanding showcases and panels are as follows:
Erotica Today Saturday 15 at 12:30 p.m.: ImLive Showcase Lounge Sponsor: Adam & Eve Pictures Curator: Eli Cross Erotica Today features films from all ends of the spectrum and asks, "What is erotica today?" the panel will consist of today’s hottest directors and stars redefining erotica. Featured Panelists: Andrew Blake, Joanna Angel, Van Styles, John Stagliano, Dana Vespoli.
Femmeworks Saturday 15 at 4 p.m.: ImLive Showcase Lounge Curator: Kylie Ireland Femmeworks showcase explores films produced and directed by women. The panel will then discover the female perspective on the business of sexuality, smut and getting off on film as it relates to the key female business leaders and directors. Featured Panelists: Theresa Flynt, Karen Stagliano, Vanessa Blue, Nicki Hunter, Holly Randall, Belladonna, Ginger Lynn.
Classics Showcase and Panel Sunday 16 at 1 p.m.: ImLive Showcase Lounge Curator: Roy Karch 2007 marks the 35th anniversary of adult films on the big screen! This showcase takes us on a trip down memory lane with the silver screen classics that introduced X-rated films to a wider, diverse audience. The panel features the filmmakers and stars that made their place in history. Featured panelists: Marilyn Chamber, Seka, Ron Jeremy, Henry Pachard, Christy Canyon.
Alt Porn, Demystified Sunday 16 at 3 p.m.: Pulpo Theater Sponsor: Vivid-Alt Curator: Eon McKai This open and inviting panel will shed light on the turbulent alt-porn movement. An extremely current panel of progressive directors and talent from the alt. scene will demystify the movement. "Where did we come from? What motivates us? Why the drama?" Vixens Panel (Femmeworks Sub-Panel) Sunday 16 at 3:30 p.m.: ImLive Showcase Lounge Moderator: Stormy Daniels® Today’s brightest stars lead a panel discussing how erotica defines them. These smoldering hot ladies uncover the secrets while dissolving myths on what it’s like to be a performer in the adult industry. A candid Q-and-a period will follow.
