(LAS VEGAS, NV) — Arrow Productions sister company Bryanston Distributors is re-releasing Sylvester Stallone’s first movie, a soft core turned hardcore adult title called “Italian Stallion,” in 25 venues across the U.S.

In association with Landmark Theaters. “Italian Stallion” originally titled “The Party at Kitty and Stud’s” also starred Henrietta Holm. The producer of the 1970 film changed the name to “Italian Stallion” and original hardcore scenes were added for the new title.

Aided by the hardcore scenes, the new name and a release just a few months before Sylvester Stallone’s mega-hit Rocky in 1977, the film soared in popularity. New prints have been struck from the recently discovered inter negatives which had gone missing almost 30 years ago.

“Stallone sure goes the distance in the bedroom. I guess he really wanted the ‘Rocky’ movie to be made so bad that he made his bones in this one for $200,” Marketing Director for Arrow Productions Robert Interlandi claims. “He even wore similar ‘Rocky’ outfits in this movie.”

The movie debuts in New York on Sept. 14. at the Landmark Sunshine Theatre. A full schedule will be released shortly. Bryanston Distributors, sister to Arrow Productions, has released both adult and mainstream titles such as “Deep Throat,” “Devil in Miss Jones” , “Return of the Dragon”, and “Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” Bryanston’s new action adventure film “Ultimate Force” will appear in video stores Oct. 9. “Italian Stallion” is available on DVD now.
