(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Sin City Contract starlet Tory Lane is in Los Angeles again and set to help re-christen a legendary West Hollywood adult retail store, Drake’s Erotica Emporium, as they host a grand re-opening for their newly redesigned Melrose location from noon to midnight this Saturday at 7566 Melrose Ave.
After servicing the community for more than 35 years, Drakes has completely overhauled its Melrose store with what they describe as “An eye toward community development, charitable outreach and a re-branding of an image now geared toward a more inclusive demographic.”
The star-studded event will include body painting and live entertainment. Effervescent Sin City contract starlet Tory Lane will be joined by Alexis Texas, Aiden Starr and Michael Manning, and will be available to sign autographs throughout the day.
“Drakes is a great store,” offers Tory Lane. “I really believe in what they are doing and I am happy to be a part of this event. Please, please, please come out and support it. Can’t wait to see you all!”
A live music show will also take place with Sister Unity of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence set to host the jam, which will feature performers such as Prince Poppycock, Mistress Anna Valentina, Courtney Cruz, Danny Shorago (the Fuxedos), Toy Surprise, Rebecca Gray, Discount Cruise to Hell, Satanica and 10 West. Local bands the Glowering Eyes, Red Light District and Citizen Savant will also perform throughout the day.
Drake’s will donate 5 percent of the event’s proceeds to the Women’s Care Cottage, an organization that has assisted homeless families for more than 20 years. Event planner Mandi Moss said Drake’s will now serve as a drop-off location for “Any donations people may want to give to this worthy organization.”
“Starting Saturday, and from then on, people can donate their items at our store,” she said. “They need professional clothing for women re-entering the workforce, but people can donate pretty much anything. All we ask is that everything be in good, clean and operable condition.”
