Adam & Eve

(HILLSBOROUGH, NC) — Adam & Eve, the nation’s number one source for all things erotic, prides itself on its sex positive stance. Its executives, therefore, were shocked when its tame ads were pulled from KLSX 97.1 in Los Angeles. The station features racy programming from Adam Corolla and Tom Leykis.

Corolla, who, as one half of the now defunct “Man Show,” is as famous for having a bevy of adult stars on his program as he is for his irreverent behavior, received so many calls from upset listeners that the show was forced to pull the ads.

Interestingly, a visit to Corolla’s homepage brings up images of XXX stars Sunny Lane, Jesse Jane and Sunset Thomas, who all have appeared on his show. The upscale gentleman’s club, “Scores,” appears to sponsor the show. And Corolla also has a section that he has deemed “too hot for radio” that include such songs as “In her Backdoor.”

Likewise, Leykis, whose current site boasts such news headlines as “Alexyss Tylor Vagina Power” and features pictures of him with XXX superstar Tera Patrick, removed the Adam & Eve ads due to listener complaints.

The ads, which simply encouraged customers to go to www.adameve.com to take 50% off almost any item (when using the code “Free FM” at checkout), were deemed too racy for KLSX.
