(VAN NUYS, CA) — Tony Batman and Monica Mayhem will be walking the talk for the MDA Stride and Ride in Lake Balboa Park, Sunday, November 5, 2006.
Stride and Ride is an annual event that raises money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the inimitable Bob of Dane Productions has found an ardent supporter in Batman. “When I did the telethon this year, it blew me away to be a part of something this huge and to see that so much can be done to help cure people with Md and all of the related diseases.”
“During this past 6 months, I’ve cried with Bob and laughed with Bob and been there on the phone taking donations with Bob and all of those times, I’ve been proud that I could give back to something bigger than me by being there. It’s time that I get Monica in there as well. She’s a sweet girl and I have no doubt that Bob will have another convert to the MDA cause,” Batman said.
“We’re still taking pledges for our team’s part in the Stride and Ride,” reminded Batman. “Listeners can tune in KSEXradio.com (ksexradio.com) on Thursday, November 2 from 7:00 to 9:00pm and put in their pledges for our walk on Sunday. We’ll have an Italian menu going for the show, with Gia Giavanni and Alexia Milano in the studio to show us their talents and talk about what they’ve been doing lately. I’m going to try and talk them into attending the Stride and Ride, because if that Baldwin guy can recruit for Jesus, I sure the hell can recruit for a worthy cause on ‘I Don’t Think So Buddy’!”
