(LISBON, PORTUGAL) — Next Thursday 13th of July 2006 the II Salão Internacional Erótico de Lisboa will host the first adult webmaster congress. This is the "young cousin" of the Hispanic Adult Webmasters’ Congress, that takes place within the Barcelona Erotic Film Festival in October, since 6 years ago.
The Lisbon Congress is meant to provide a "real life forum", a networking opportunity for Portuguese webmasters that have chosen to work with erotic content, though the organisers are conscious that many Internet professionals, nowadays, work with all kind of contents for better profits.
The goal is to achieve an active participation and interaction with sponsors and webmasters that are interested in the Portuguese-speaking Internet -that includes countries like Brasil- as well as in other "connected" platforms, like cellphones. The program will include issues like legality, traffic creation, payment methods, Internet security, success stories and anything of interest for webmasters in general.
Thanks to the Lisbon Erotic fair the fee to attend is 0 Euros; the only cost is the ticket to attend the Salao Erotico for one day (20 Euros).
"The Congress aims to provide a forum for exchange of information of all kinds and stimulate the responsible online publishing. It might seem surprising but the webmasters that are most interested in the safe surfing are, actually, adult webmasters. We are also proud to be independent and we do want to receive as much third-party information/propaganda as possible, in order to distribute it to the attending webmasters. As we believe the second most important reason to attend a Congress like this -apart from the networking opportunity- is receive -and exchange- information about anything from hardware and software to sponsor programs or content," declares Natalia Kim, one of the organisers. "We really want to receive as much feedback as possible from everybody. Ideas, suggestions, information for the participants… "
There is no cost or conditioned involved for sponsors that would like to reach the attending professionals. "Obviously, the active collaborators gets a free pass!", adds Natalia.
The second edition of the Salao Erotico de Lisbon takes place at the Lisbon Commercial Faire, Fil, July 13th thru 16th 2006.
