(HOLLYWOOD, CA) — Metro Interactive has the pleasure of announcing their outstanding 25 AVN nominations for the upcoming 23rd annual AVN Awards Show being held in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 7th, 2006 at the Sands Exposition Center in the Venetian Hotel Resort & Casino.
All of Metro Interactive companies were well represented with Cal Vista earning nods for Best Video Feature, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Actress Video, and Best Supporting Actress Video nominations for Prisoner by rising features director DCypher.
“It’s an honor to be listed among so many other talented directors,” DCypher humbly offered. “Just seeing my name on the short list for Best Director was a thrilling shock.”
Not to be outdone, Award Winning Director Red Ezra received a slew of nominations for Blu Dreams: Sweet Solos, including two Best sex Solos and Best Videography, as well as a nomination for Best Director Video for Taboo 21.
Metro’s FusXion line also scored nominations for Best Gonzo release and Best Tease for Pat Myne’s Myne Tease 2, as well as Best Pro-Am nod’s for Early Entries 4 and the series on the whole.
Metro Interactive also scored a nomination for Best Overall Marketing Campaign, Individual Project on behalf of their push for the free spirited Loaded Digital line-up.
Other notable nominations include Best Foreign All sex release for the Secrets of the Kamasutra, Best All Girl sex Scene Video for Metro Contract Director Bridgette Kerkove’s first feature title, Babes Illustrated 15.
Brittney Foster scored a nomination for Best All Girl Feature for her thrilling title Nightmare 2, while Bad Ass Pictures received love for Teenage Heathens: A Mexican Experience and the enormously popular Wild Side.
“It’s been a great year and I’m glad to see that all of our directors and our lines received the attention they deserve. Metro’s nominations encompass almost every genre in adult video and demonstrates that we have something for everybody,” stated Metro Interactive’s vice president of operations Noel Bloom, who is also being honored by induction into this year’s Hall of Fame in the Founder’s Wing.

The AVN Awards are achievement-based awards dedicated to recognizing the outstanding products and talented individuals that have contributed to the advancement of the adult entertainment industry.
