I get a call from Andy Enomoto while I’m at the bank and he asks me if I’ve ever been to the Tampa Show. I say no and he says he hasn’t either but knows Paul Allen of Nightmoves Magazine and was thinking about covering the event this year for his publication Private Dancer Magazine. I’ve known Andy for years and from time to time he and I trade stories between Private Dancer Magazine and Adult Industry News so I whisper into the phone to him “yeah, I’d love to go this year.”
The night before we flew out we stopped by the Spearmint Rhino in Arcadia to catch a preliminary round to the Spearmint Rhino’s Entertainer of the Year dance contest choosing the company’s best entertainer. I was grateful that Goldie DeWitt, owner of 1Down.com and a great watering hole in Chino Hills, was there filming. Goldie’s bachelor party was the same weekend as the Tampa Show and both Andy and I regretted missing sending Goldie off right. Congratulations to Goldie and his fiance on a great life together!
At the airport the next morning we ran into Flower Tucci while going through security. It surprised me to hear “Hey, Steve!”, turn around and see how beautiful she is without makeup and with her clothes on. She was on the same flight as we were but I found out later the reason I didn’t see her is she had slept through the whole flight.
Missy Monroe was at the check in counter when we got to the gate. Always sweet and personable we ran into her quite often throughout the show and at the hotel. She has family in Tampa so I had the pleasure of meeting her father when we landed.
Coming off the plane in Tampa the humidity was so thick it was like being wrapped in a moist, warm blanket. I had forgotten the reality of Florida weather but I would probably have begun to get used to it if the trip were longer. Say about a decade.
Getting there on Friday night we were just in time for the first personal appearance party at Vegas Showgirls, 10570 Gandy Blvd, Saint Petersburg. It was a small but nice club where they set up tables in the bar in back and fans got to meet, talk, have pictures taken with and autographed by their favorite stars. The club could only accommodate half the girls at a time so they broke the group into two.
Andy, Ricky Rueping (a photographer Andy knows from Wisconsin who was also covering the event) and I arrived at the club where I met Paul Allen, publisher of Nightmoves Magazine and organizer of the weekend event.
Paul, in a suit and trimmed beard, reminded me of a clean-cut Clint Eastwood. Though not as tall as Eastwood, when Paul spoke it cinched it – like Eastwood with laryngitis. If you want to see hospitality on a grand scale, you’ve got to go to the Tampa show and Nightmoves Awards next year.
I wasn’t sure of what kind of club it was – someone said bikini – but there were girls in attire that one would expect at topless clubs on some of the house dancers. About half way through the second signing a dozen or so Vice Squad Sheriffs crashed the party and hauled away 5 of the dancers. That was a switch! All the porn girls were totally covered and really obeying the law – coached by Paul Allen – and it was the house girls getting into trouble!
The next day there was a charity car wash at Bliss Cabaret, 3860 Ulmerton Rd, in Clearwater. Missy Monroe and Mari Possa, both working in the heat, began feeling the effects of the sun. Some guys must have driven their trucks off road to get them full of mud for the girls to wash off. In addition to the Pornstars there was a very enthusiastic house dancer from the club who made washing cars look like having sex. The girls worked hard washing cars and raising about $500 for the victims of hurricane Katrina.
Later that night, the signing was at the Gold Club, 6222 Adamo Dr, Tampa, a clean spacious, well laid-out topless club. Though the club was spacious, club personnel kept bringing out tables and chairs for the caravan of stars that kept showing up. The signing area spilled out of the upper floor and down on to the main floor of the club. At one point Ricky asked Tommy Gunn for a picture and to grab the hottest babe he could find. I knew he’d grab Rita Faltoyano. The couple was married a short while ago.
After the events each night a group of people would hang out in the bar of the hotel or the pool area which security kept private for the Nightmoves group. I had a chance to observe both Angelica Sin and Charlee Chase on different occasions and am disappointed I didn’t get to talk with them more. They each seemed very sweet as well as knockouts in the looks department! On this night, I milled around the pool area where Sierra went for a swim sans attire and Heather Pink and her boyfriend spontaneously had sex.
The Awards Show was at Bricktown 54 located at 1560 N. McMullen Booth, a very upscale club in Clearwater. Read about the show in my other article soon to follow this one.
After the show Andy, Ricky and I bought a bunch of beer and some ice and went back to the hotel. The hotel bar was pretty full so we checked out the pool area and there were more people there than last night. While looking around I see a girl in heels and a formal dress climb over the wall to get into the private area where we were. Her name is Courtney and she was one of the nominees for Best Escort Award at the Nightmoves Show. (Courtney, 23, blue eyes, black hair, sweet, cute & fun. In/out call. Full Service no rip-offs. She scaled the wall to see Ron Jeremy! She had a nice rack and sure enough there was Ronnie’s autograph on her left breast! When Ron showed up she got a chance to talk with him. And Heather Pink and her boyfriend spontaneously had sex – again.
I talked with Mike South a bit and discovered he was in aerospace before porn. Mike has computer skills Adult Industry people will never even dream of using! He has a number of sites, two of which are MikeSouth.com and SouthernBukkake.com. He’s based out of Atlanta, girls, so get in touch with him!
When Vivian West walked up I offered her my chair and she was kind enough to take me up on the offer before I could get out of the chair myself. She is beautiful, has a stacked yet petite body and is as light as a feather! What impressed me the most though, was what I sensed inside her – amid the babble of a party she seemed calm and serene inside.
Lori Alexia decided to slide her straight-from-the-pool self on to both our laps without asking, lit a cigarette and promptly burned Kelly Taylor with the cherry who was sitting in front of her on Mike South’s lap. Vivian and I decided to get up and let Lori have the chair. Since I was now already wet I figured it was time to get my bathing suit.
Courtney wanted a beer so I grabbed her by the hand and brought her up to my room to give her one of the ones in our sink full of ice. We got back down to the pool in time for the hotel management to throw us out. Next we joined Lisa Sparxxx and company on the 2nd floor courtyard where we were also joined by a bunch of people who may not have been Industry. We were kind of loud and since people were looking at us from their windows I suggested we go back to the pool.
After a nice swim and getting thrown out of the pool area again Andy and I found ourselves in Lisa’s room with all her friends. We were joined by the man in the next room who we were keeping awake, who was nice enough to bring over another bottle and join us instead of calling security. I was the first one to leave at around 5 a.m.
We missed the pool party at Paul and Tracy Allen’s on Monday morning. Since we had to fly out we took the last few hours in Tampa to check out the winner of the Best Nude Club Award, 2001 Odyssey. Andy and I took a cab there and found the club to be great fun even in the early afternoon. The girls are friendly and hot and will sit and talk with you. (I hate the opening line “Want a dance?”) I eventually asked one of the girls to show me the “Space Ship” – a private area upstairs that looks like, well, a space ship! Scarlet danced on my lap for a half hour and it was as much fun as one could have with their clothes on! I was VERY satisfied by her performance! I also had a girl named Mimi show me another area dancers use. She was hot hot hot! A Puerto Rican girl with a name tattooed on her stomach. Please forgive me for not remembering the name, I remember her fine tits and her hot breath in my ear.
So we leave the club, pick up our luggage from the hotel, sail through airport security and fly back to L.A. I’m sold on the Tampa Show. I’m looking forward to it next year!
