(LOS ANGELES, CA) — The Masseuse was honored as the Best Adult Title of the Year and Paul Thomas, who directed the film for leading adult movie studio Vivid Entertainment, won the award for Best Director, Feature, at the second annual Delta of Venus Fair at the Torino Sex 2005 in Turin, Italy last month.
The Delta of Venus Fair award was the latest in a long string of honors for the Masseuse, the Vivid Entertainment/ClubJenna production. Earlier this year it was honored as the Best Film of the Year at the AVN Awards ceremony, Best Adult Title of the Year at the Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA) 2005 Home Entertainment Awards, Best Film at XRCO from the X-Rated Critics, as well as the Best Film at the FOXE Awards (Fans of X-Rated Entertainment).
Representatives of Antigua Films/Vivid Europe accepted the awards at the fair, which was part of the Torino Sex 2005 expo in Turin attended by about 20,000 people.
The film starred Vivid Girl Jenna Jameson and her husband/partner Justin Sterling, who were chosen by AVN as Best Actress and Actor respectively for their work in the film.
Thomas is the most honored director in the adult film world. He began his career in the adult industry more than two decades ago after acting in such musicals as Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar.
