Myles’ Weekend Adventures from New Orleans! This week: Leslie Wells at The New Orleans Gold Club.
Bonjour mon amis! Myles Shaffer coming to you from the New Orleans Vieux Carre. My family and I drove to Las Vegas, Nevada, on Monday, May 16th. Tuesday, the 17th, we attended the Academy of Country Music Awards Show at Mandalay Bay. It was a great show, even though only about half of my personal picks won, and Miranda Lambert was only allowed to sing approximately thirty to forty seconds of her latest hit. Oh well, being so new a recording artist as she is, I’m certain that Miranda was just happy to be there, and I was happy for her.
We again hit the road the morning of the 18th, and drove straight through to Westlake, Louisiana, where we spent the night at the Isle of Capri Hotel and Casino, located on the west shore of Lake Charles.
The, “Inn At the Isle,” a motel that is located across the parking lot in front of the main hotel, is the nicest motel I have ever stayed in, and the hotel is even better. The hotel is all suites, and the suites are something else! In my honest opinion, the, “Isle of Capri,” is so nice as many of the Las Vegas hotels, and better than some!
Okay, enough about our travels, let us now speak of an absolute goddess!
Leslie Wells
Monday night, May 23rd, after enjoying the Charmaine Neville Band’s first set at Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro, I hot footed it through the unseasonal heat and humidity to the New Orleans Gold Club, walking there in 35 minutes, arriving sweatier than a pig. Guess what, I had the wrong information. Leslie Wells wasn’t scheduled to start until Tuesday night, May 24th. Oh well, at least I didn’t have to walk to the club on Tuesday night.
Tuesday evening, May 24th, after dining at Michaul’s On St. Charles, I had my executive vice-president in charge of back seat driving drop me off at the Gold Club, where this time I did get to see Leslie Wells, both shows in fact.
Leslie, in my opinion, is one of the best features in the industry today, and one of the most beautiful women in the world! This lady is friendly, intelligent, articulate and a blast to speak with. Leslie is a tall, lovely, lady from Atlanta, Georgia, with a great looking body!
Leslie’s costumes are well thought out, and her shows are, in a word, theatrical. Also, her musical selection is always extremely appropriate for her shows. Once Leslie has gotten so nude as local laws will allow, her shows get hot!
Some of Leslie’s costumes are so elaborate that nobody who has never seen the show before will be able to tell it is Leslie until she has removed at least half her costume. Also, Leslie has many shows. A person would have to see Leslie perform many times over, before they would have seen all her costumes and shows.
Not only do I recommend a visit to a local club to see and meet Leslie Wells, I will say she is an absolute must see! Seriously readers, do not pass up a chance to see and meet this lady. Nobody who enjoys watching a good feature perform will be disappointed after seeing one of Leslie’s shows!

The New Orleans Gold Club
This club is located at 727 Iberville, just two or three doors from Bourbon Street. It is a very nice looking club and quite comfortably furnished.
When a person comes through the front door, they are greeted by a nice looking bar, and usually a good looking female bartender. Inside the club there are three more bars.
The club has one bar that also serves as a stage, plus two regular stages on the floor.
There are rooms upstairs for VIP dances. These VIP rooms are roomy and really well furnished. In fact, I wish that my den at home looked so good!
If any of my readers should find themselves in New Orleans, take the time to check out the Gold Club. If anybody does get a chance to stop in, say hello to Courtney at the front door bar. She is a beautiful, tall, California native, with long blonde hair and a great personality.
Once inside the club, be certain to say hello to Jeany, a gorgeous, dark haired, and very sexy bartender/waitress. She is a real sweetheart, and she made a great effort to keep me from getting bored between Leslie’s shows.
Another lady to watch for is the very pretty, dark haired, and extremely friendly dancer named Kristin.
Also, be on the lookout for a dancer named Jennifer. She also is originally from California. She is pretty, and has the most sexy and hypnotic eyes I have seen in a long time!
Jennifer told me that she was recently featured in a non-sex role as Angel Extreme, in Vivid Video’s, “The Empress,” starring Rocco and Jenine. I believe she told me that the film was soon to be released.
In closing, I will say that the dancers, bartenders and waitresses at the Gold Club are all very nice looking women. Also, from what I could see, the entire staff is a bunch of very nice, friendly people. If anybody is ever in New Orleans, and wants to spend some time in a gentleman’s club, I highly recommend the Gold Club. In my experience, it is one of the very few clubs in the French Quarter that isn’t an absolute tourist trap!
