Source: ASACP – Adult Sites Against Child Pornography
By: Company Press Release
(LOS ANGELES, CA) — ASACP (ASACP.org) is the organization that helps the adult site industry make a difference in the battle against child pornography (CP). ASACP provides a self-regulatory vehicle for its members through a Code of Ethics that promotes the protection of children through responsible, professional business practices (ASACP.org/bestpractices.html).
FTVCash focuses on professional caliber pictures and video. With massive content updates FTV has been and will continue to re-bill customers for years. FTVCash is currently hosting four single girl sites and one megasite “FTVGirls”. “New single girl sites will always be in the future as well as the massive growth of FTVGirls and FTVCash sites,” Chris Stovall, President, FTVCash.
There are two main ways that the adult entertainment industry can both protect itself and the children. The first which is required by law is to have correct 2257 documentation, then refer to it and the custodial of records on the home page of each site. The other is not required by law, but is something that upsets parents and continues to garner negative media attention – having adult material on a home page where children can unknowingly view it. This is why ASACP has added this item to the Best Practices (ASACP.org/bestpractices.html), “On Index (warning) page: include all disclaimers, age verification, etc and exclude images to prevent children from unknowingly viewing adult material.’
“Our company had already established policies and procedures similar to what ASACP recommends into its best practices long before we became an ASACP Sponsor. It’s important for others in the industry to adopt such practices. FTVCash is proud to help support the ASACP fight against child porn, ” Chris Stovall, President, FTVCash.
“FTV Cash is an example of how good business practices can equate to financial success. It also demonstrates to the government and public that the industry is concerned about the children and can self-regulate – Protecting the Industry by Protecting the Children,” said Joan Irvine, executive director, ASACP.
