Passion Fruit Video, best known in the adult industry for it’s two recently AVN nominated movies — Gonza: Wanna be a Porn Star? And Gallery Erotica, recently announced it’s plunge into the gay cable television market and negotiations with three gay cable companies for pilots that have just been filmed.
Passion Fruit had great success in 2004 with its first feature release in Europe, ” How To Pick Up Girls: A Guide for the Dating Impaired” and decided to make the move to television in 2005.
Passion Fruit Video , best known for its beautiful actresses and lesbian themes, is especially excited about the move to cable with a pilot that has a Xena/Mad Max/Monty Python feel to it.
“You know, gorgeous priestesses doing magic and really ripped bodybuilder warrior girls in leather. We expect a pretty diverse crowd to tune in!”, laughs Alpha, the producer/director for Passion Fruit. “We’ve got a bunch of talented, beautiful women who can play comedy really well, and terrific scripts.”
The second pilot is a reality show about lesbians and their pets, hosted by the talented comedienne and writer, Elizabeth Bland.
