You could have knocked me over with a feather. I was in attendance at the Legends of Erotica Wall of Fame Inductions when Bill Margold began the announcement for the winner of this year’s Carnal Medal of Honor, a prestigious award given annually to a porn luminary for their career achievements.
Bill said “I remember the first time I met her in 1992. It was in room at the Old Chariot House in Las Vegas. I called her Tinkerbelle.” OMG, I thought, he’s talking about me! Winning the award was totally unexpected as was having to give a speech afterwards!
I was nervous (and who wouldn’t be) speaking in front of a Hall of Fame audience that included Nina Hartley, Amber Lynn, Selena Steele, Henri Pachard, Porsche Lynn, Johnny Keyes, Lynn LeMay, Raymond Pistol, Bridgette Monroe, Mai Linn, JR Reynolds, Rhonda Jo Petty, Steve Nelson and a lot fans and old friends. I’ve never really been about awards and stuff, but right now (at 5 am) I am feeling so honored that I’m still wearing my medal!
Forgive my self indulgence but I have got to say this one more time – Stevi Secret the 2005 Legends of Erotica Carnal Medal of Honor Winner! Thank you I am so honored!
