(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Vivid Entertainment has teamed up with top fashion photographers Richard Dean and Len Prince to create an original series of romantic and sensual fine art prints featuring the Vivid Girls.

“The pictures are Hollywood pin-up meets modern Vargas/Elvgren,” says Vivid’s vice president for licensing David Schlesinger, referring to the classic pin-up photos made in the 1930s and 40s by Alberto Vargas and Gil Elvgren. “The images are romantic and sensual and are targeted to mainstream audiences and art collectors. They are not X-rated in any way,” he added.

Vivid Girls Tera Patrick, Savanna Samson and Mercedez posed for photo sessions with Dean and Prince in Manhattan on December 6th, for the first in a series of sessions featuring the Vivid Girls. Prints from this first shoot will be available as of January 6th on VividGalleryCollection.com.

There will be various price points for the images, starting at below $100 for framed 8×10 prints on up to single edition, large-sized gallery prints that will sell for up to $10,000 at exclusive gallery showings. The images will initially be available through the Vivid.com, VividGalleryCollection.com, and later through the Vivid Girls’ websites, retail galleries, poster shops, frame shops, adult stores and specialty outlets. In addition to the Vargas style prints, a series of images in film noir will also be released in 2005.

New York City photographer Len Prince has produced an acclaimed body of work including celebrity portraiture, fashion, nudes, still life as well as a flower series and cityscapes. His work has appeared in Interview, Vanity Fair and InStyle magazines among others and he has done commissioned work for Estee Lauder and Cartier.

Richard Dean, also a New York City resident, has photographed celebrities ranging from Nicholas Cage and Martin Scorsese to Kofi Annan. His work includes advertising campaigns for Reebok, Nike, VH1, Fuji film and Phat Farm as well as covers for TV Guide, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, FHM and Sport.
