(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) — Legendary, San Francisco-based sex toy, book and video retailer, Good Vibrations today announces their plans to re-launch their company website . The redesigned site will offer easier access to product and content for the end user as well as an updated look and feel, bringing it in line with Good Vibrations’ exclusive branding initiative, which launched earlier this year.

Says Cynthia Billops, Good Vibrations Web Manager, “It had been three years since we did a major site refresh. For that reason we decided that it was time to, once again, take a critical and in-depth look at our website’s overall usability in an attempt to make the site less dense and at the same time retain access to one of our most valuable assets — our content. Our goal here is not to remove anything, but to re-structure the information in such a way as to make the pages seem lighter while simultaneously allowing easier access to the products and content users are interested in”.

Among the new features planned are:

– Improved navigation throughout the site.

– Streamlined categories, making the site easier to use and making it easier to find products and information.

– a more efficient ordering process, making it more intuitive for users to navigate.

In conjunction with the re-design, Good Vibrations will launch the Porn section on their website, expressly gearing it towards women. This robust, new library of porn chosen by women, for women, features everything from erotic drama, all sex-no plot, sex education, Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT), and BDSM and Fetish. The Good Vibrations’ porn collection is curated by renowned Sexologist, Dr. Carol Queen and best-selling author and editor, Violet Blue. Much of the new collection includes films directed and produced by women. The Go-Live date for the newly designed GoodVibes.com is slated for September 30, 2004.
