(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Bishop, the director of Smash Pictures’ Bishop’s Blind Sex Dates, was one of the guests on Playboy Radio’s Nightcalls and put in an appearance on Playboy’s Spice Clips Live last week, where he discussed his reality-based dating series, met Stacy Valentine and Shelby Stevens, introduced listeners and the people at Playboy to Tyra Spanks, and generally had a great time fielding calls from fans and dishing about the industry.
He was invited on both shows to promote his first independent project, Bishop’s Blind Sex Dates. The series brings together couples who are introduced for the first time, and then follows them throughout a date, which then may develop into a sexual situation. The series is directed and hosted by Bishop, Seymore Butts’ right hand production man on Showtime’s adult reality series, Family Business. He still remains as Butts’ cameraman and editor, and plans to remain with him in that capacity.
Host Juli Ashton and guest host Andrea Lowell of Playboy TV’s the Weekend Flash questioned him on the series, his experiences casting and shooting the episodes to date, what future plans he has for his brainchild, and how he’s coping with the sudden success of his first project. The show is broadcast on the XM Satellite Radio Network to an estimated 2 million listeners.
“I really had a great time. I was only scheduled to be on for 30 minutes, but we all hit it off so well that I was on for the entire show, something like 3 hours. Juli was great and sexy. I’ve known about her, but never met her, so it was kind of like a dream come true. Andrea was great, too. I’m really looking forward to going back.”
Accompanying Bishop was the stunning Tyra Spanks, a willowy, spectacularly gorgeous sister who discussed her brand new career in the adult industry. They were joined by industry vets Stacy Valentine and Shelby Stevens.
