(STOCKTON, CA) — Worse than being caught with his pants down, a Stockton man was caught this week with his pants off by a wily prostitute who snatched his trousers and his pickup, sheriff’s investigators reported.
Police said the victim met the woman near the Am/Pm minimart on Hammer Lane at 9 p.m. Tuesday. She asked for a ride to the St. Francis Motel at 5708 N. Highway 99, saying her boyfriend had kicked her out.
The two drove to the motel in the victim’s 2002 Chevy S-10 pickup, police said. There, the woman invited the man up to a room where he agreed to have sex with her for $15.
Once acquainted, the woman told the man she was going to shower and asked him to take his pants off, police said. When she eventually emerged from the bathroom, she was fully clothed.
"The (victim) felt this was unusual," police said.
Taking advantage of the victim’s exposed position, the woman grabbed his pants and fled the room, police said. The man gave chase, pursuing the pants-snatcher through the motel’s parking lot.
The woman got away — pants and all.
Investigators said "she was much quicker than he was."
Out of luck, the man walked to the registration desk and asked the manager if he could use the phone. Police said instead of calling 9-1-1, the victim called his wife and asked her to bring him another pair of pants.
While waiting for his wife — and his pants — the victim checked on his truck, which was parked in the motel’s back parking lot, police said. Alas, like his pants, the Chevy was gone.
