I’d like to begin by saying we regret to hear about the current HIV situation within the Industry and our hearts go out to Darren and Laura – in fact to ALL who are on the lists – you’re in our prayers.
As a Management company who works closely with our Talent, we have decided to delay all hardcore Boy/Girl or Girl/Girl related opportunities until AIM is able to complete the Second Generation list of Talent. It is our understanding that the purpose of creating this list is so that Talent can quarantine themselves from possibly causing further exposure to the Industry until they complete 60 days of PCR-DNA testing at AIM.
This means we will not tolerate the impatience of Talent who will work under unsafe conditions and put themselves and others at risk willfully. We also highly support those companies who have chosen to delay their shooting schedules at this time as well, such as Cherry Boxxx, Red Light District, Adult.com, and Jill Kelly.
As for the Industry’s Talent, we’d like to offer our support as well. We understand that this is a career for many and that many have spoken out about not shooting hardcore scenes for several weeks or even months! This is a scary time for you – the individual, both financially and morally – and we’d like to help in any way we can.
Our sister company, MystiqueModels.com manages Talent for Mainstream and/or soft-core programs for Film and Television. We currently have Several projects that could use more Talent in more ways than one. Mainstream has always been frowned upon a little, I think, because the amount of money you make for the amount of hours put in on the set rarely Ever compare to that of the Adult Industry. But there are also many More “little” jobs out there than one might think.
Since we all have to continue to live our lives and pay the bills, this could be one temporary answer to help you maintain your abstinence and support yourself. And who knows, you may find a niche in life you didn’t realize you had.
