To All of My Friends, Associates and Acquaintances,

I’m writing to you in an effort to gain your support for an upcoming Charity Event that I have become involved with – The Stars Shoot for a Cure – Celebrity Basketball Game. Proceeds from the event will go to the non-profit group – Y.A.M.S. (Youth Against Multiple Sclerosis – YouthAgainstMS.org)

I was so taken by the story of Kaley Zeitouni – and her courage, that I offered my assistance in the Promotion and Marketing of the event. For your edification, Kaley was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 12 and found the inner-strength to start her own non-profit at the age of 15 – and has to date raised over 100K which has been used to find a cure, as well as, to spread awareness of MS. (She is currently 17.)

The Stars Shoot for a Cure – Celebrity Basketball Game is being held the evening of – Saturday, March 27th at the John Wooden Center at UCLA.

How Can you Help? We can use your assistance in a number of ways –

Sponsors – if you own, work for – or are associated with a Business that may be interested in being a Sponsor, please let me know – as there are several Sponsorship Opportunities available.

Celebrities – if you know of any Celebrities that would be willing to participate in the Game and/or be involved in pre and post-game press, please let me know.

Media – if you know of any news organizations or media outlets that may be interested in publicizing this worthy event, please help me get in touch with them.

Donations – Tickets are $50 each. If you can afford to – please purchase as many tickets as possible and help make this wonderful event a success.

Silent Auction Items – in an effort to raise as much money as possible – we will also be conducting a Silent Auction. Any Items that you might be willing to donate will be greatly appreciated.

Spread the Word – Please pass this along and tell as many people as possible about the event.

Way too often – we take the "good health" that we enjoy for granted. Hearing of this event, Kaley’s story and the recent birth of my son – has caused me to stop… put things in perspective… And realize how – truly, fortunate I am. As a result, I’m committed to doing whatever I can to make this event a success. Any assistance that you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Scott
