(CARLSBAD, CA) — Pornslinga Productions was founded in 2002 by Torrey Hurlock and Joseph Barnum with the intent of diversifying the distribution chain of ‘next generation’ porn producers.
The idea was simple: while the broader market was focused on traditional print and video producers feverishly attempting to move their offerings into the digital domain, a need was found to provide a retail distribution channel for content originally produced for the Internet; allowing producers to offer their content on VHS and DVD through existing adult book and video shops.
According to co-founder Torrey Hurlock, "after hearing a request from one of our video stores to find out if FTVGirls was available on DVD (which it was not), we approached the owner, Robert H. Simiar, to find out if we could help bring his product to the physical market. At the time we knew very little about technical production, but we have a strong customer base and were confident that even an amateur effort would at least pay back what we put into it. From that first project, Pornslinga was born."
The first video in the FTV series, "Volume 1: Janelle" is now available on DVD and VHS, with an upcoming February release of "Volume 2: Isabella" – while Volumes 3 and 4 ("Mia" and "Isabella Meets Nadine") are scheduled for a March release.
Based upon their success with the FTV series, Pornslinga is in the process of acquiring several new accounts, and has already struck deals with a number of producers, including director Gregg Gregory of BackseatBangers.com, and MILFSeeker.com who recently inked a deal for exclusive DVD/VHS post production and distribution. The first Volumes of these products will be available in March.
February will be an active month for Pornslinga, with gay amateur site StriderGuys.com bringing their Web offerings to market, beginning with director Michael Strider’s "Stud Pokers" scheduled to be released on the 27th, with new volumes expected to be released monthly. New York’s Red Light Interactive will release their feature title "City of Flesh" – a ‘Hollywood quality’ movie shot on 35mm – on the 27th as well.
