Heidi here –
I met up with Jewel at New Fine Arts in Dallas on Nov.14. I had the privilege on interviewing her. Here’s some of the interesting things she said:
Heidi – Hi Jewel, how are you? Mmmmm! You look good!
Jewel – Hi Heidi, I’m fine. How are you?
Heidi – Fine, thanks. What have you been up to lately?
Jewel – Well, I’ve just finished “Wet Brunettes” and I’m on the box cover, and did a DP in it as well.
Heidi – How long have you been in the business?
Jewel – I have been in the business for six years now.
Heidi – What were you doing before you got in the business?
Jewel – I was an exotic dancer and I met Selena Steele and several others – the rest is history!
Heidi – How did you meet Peter North?
Jewel – I met him where I was dancing and I did my first movie with him.
Heidi – So, is he good?
Jewel – Oh yeah, he is a sweetie!
Heidi – What do you enjoy most about what you are doing now?
Jewel – What I enjoy most is owning my own business and meeting my fans. I also enjoy directing and producing movies.
Heidi – When you first started in the adult business, did you ever imagine that you would be where you are today?
Jewel – I set my goals very high from the beginning that someday I would be running my own business and to achieve my goals. Now I’m running my own business and my dream has come true!
Heidi – It sure did! Hard work pays off!
Jewel – YEAH!
Heidi – Why did you get in the adult business?
Jewel – I wanted to get in the business, because I wanted to own my own company and to have fun!
Heidi – I heard that you started Platinum X Pictures with Michael since you two were married. How did you get the other guys involved?
Jewel – They were already free lance directors so I contracted them because they had high potential and plus they have good heads on their shoulders.
Heidi – There is a rumor going around that you and Michael are divorcing. Is that true?
Jewel – Yes it is, but we are still friends and it is so much better this way!
Heidi – That’s good!
Heidi – Porn Star Idol has been an up and going thing for Platinum X, can you tell me a little about Porn Star Idol?
Jewel – Porn Star Idol is for girls that would like to be a porn star, and I take the role of Simon [from American Idol]. I pick along with two other judges, a few girls. I will have Porn Star Idol coming out in February.
Heidi – How was it being the host for the 2003 XRCO Awards?
Jewel – It was cool and a lot of fun – I had a blast!
Heidi – Changing the subject to your toy line, what new toy do you have coming out?
Jewel – I have the “Matrix Vibe”.
Heidi – That leads me to the subject on sex!
Jewel – I love that subject!!!
Heidi – So what are your biggest turn – ons?
Jewel – Good hygiene and good personality.
Heidi – What are your turn – offs?
Jewel – The opposite.
Heidi – What is your favorite position?
Jewel – I love to be on top because I like to be in control.
Heidi – You and me both!!!

Heidi – Besides your personality, talent, beauty, and wisdom, how do you describe yourself?
Jewel – I am very down to earth and laid back.
Heidi – What are your hobbies?
Jewel – I love to read, cook and decorate – more of a homebody.
Heidi – What advice do you have for new talent?
Jewel – Get a good agent!!
