(BARCELONA, SPAIN) — Cleopatra off to a sensational start, DVD tops sales charts within 2 weeks of release.
After the sensational success of Private’s Cleopatra at Berlin’s Venus awards where the movie took both the prestigious Best movie-Europe award, and the Best actress-Europe for the movie’s star Julia Taylor, the DVD has shot to the number 1 position in sales with performance doubling that of previous number 1 best sellers in online sales.
The movie’s spectacular success has reflected the support which Private has put behind this product with a dedicated website at Private.com/cleopatra, and a Cleopatra themed presence at Berlin’s Venus show to promote the launch.
Cleopatra On Tour
The star of Cleopatra, Julia Taylor, is currently involved in a European promotional tour for the movie, with her appearance in Berlin followed by a hugely successful visit to Paris with TV and radio appearances. Visits to Holland, Germany and England are scheduled over the next month.
