Adult Sites Against Child Pornography (ASACP)

First of all, ASACP wishes to thank you for your ongoing support for the last seven years. It is sad to say that child pornography still exists on the Internet, however, because of your concern about child pornography, ASACP has been able to help the industry make a difference.

Since government investigations can take a long time, people occasionally ask, “Does reporting child pornography to ASACP really make a difference or are the reports just going into a black hole?” Sometimes it feels like this, even for the staff at ASACP. However, rest assured that with the enhanced relationship with the FBI-LA, NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children), and now with Inhope.org, the ASACP hotline is becoming more effective in its mission (ASACP.org/press/press1003.html).

ASACP posts the latest news about ASACP on its press page (ASACP.org/pressreleases.html), so please check out this page a few times a month.

People have asked us to review ASACP’s accomplishments for the last year. So much has happened at ASACP since August ’02 that we thought it would be easier just to provide a summary with links to the detailed press releases:
