(NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA) — Adult Production Stage "Satsuma Studios" closes it doors after 5 years of service to the adult industry. The closure of the studio comes prematurely since the studio stays booked on average of 20-25 days a month.
The problems started about 9 months ago when property owners no longer wanted adult productions being shot on their property.
The studio owners rent the building and after a long battle in court, they lost. Exclusive clients like Vivid will have to go elsewhere to shoot larger budget features consisting of multiple set designs.
Satsuma also houses digital editing services cutting for several companies. They will continue to do so at a new location.
