(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Elegant Angel Productions, an award-winning leader in adult entertainment, announced today that effective immediately, Axel Braun decided to step down as General Manager, and will focus on his production work for Axel Braun Productions. Elegant Angel is pleased that Axel agreed to continue to supply several movies to the company over the next year.
Braun will continue with the top selling Squirting Adventures of Dr. G as well as take over the Blow Job Adventures of Dr. Fellatio line. The Blow Job Adventures of Dr. Fellatio was the first all B.J. line in the industry, and the company is extremely pleased that Braun will be filming the series. The Fellatio line hasn’t been released in over a year because Collins “couldn’t find the right director” for the award winning series. “We now have a shooter who understands. And loves, the art of fellatio”, said Collins, I’m really looking forward to this”!
Patrick Collins will take over as G.M. until the transition to Devils’ Distribution slated for December. As soon as the transition to Devils Films is complete Collins will be involved solely as director, and producer.
Along with the change in management, Elegant Angel Productions will also be focusing more on the styles for which it has become legendary. “Mainly, reality based Gonzo, with a little twist” is how Collins describes it. This announcement arrives on the heels of the Company’s recent decision to partner with Devil’s Films for all of its distribution.
Commenting on the changes to the management team, Patrick Collins said, “Elegant Angel holds a very important position in the adult entertainment industry. Recognizing the company’s core competencies, established fan base and brand recognition, we are reviewing the strategic direction of Elegant Angel, in order to ensure that the Company maintains its competitive edge. We want to focus on what we do best — which is making stroke worthy films that fans can’t wait to get their hands on. As for how they actually land in the fans’ hands – we’ll leave that to the experts.”
He added, “Due to the current political climate in the United States, there are some elements of our much anticipated film, Compulsion, that have resulted in our decision to release it only in Europe and other markets more friendly to the level of intensity that was Braun’s vision. The film is shot beautifully with a strong euro-centric feel and we want to deliver it to the audiences that will be most receptive to it. This was a tough call but the alternative would have been to release a sanitized version that we believe would have compromised the artistic integrity of the director.”
Collins expects the film to do “very well” in those markets and is considering other projects for these specific markets in the future. “We’ve had calls from Italy, France and Germany today from at least two companies in each territory, so maybe we stumbled on to a good thing here!”
