(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Adult Sites Against Child Pornography (ASACP) received over 4000 suspect child pornography reports in July and reported over 100 sites to the authorities.
ASACP is pleased to announce that it launched AI (ASACP Intranet) in August. The first phase is the Review module that gives the ASACP Lead Reviewers a more efficient way of processing the daily leads it receives through the ASACP.org website.
“AI is a database driven system that allows investigative information on all leads to be stored for querying and analyzing of the data. AI allows ASACP to post valid child pornography leads to the FBI and NCMEC (and in the near future European hotlines) based on their individual criteria. In addition, ASACP will be able to perform more detailed statistical analysis,” explained Brandon Shalton, CTO – ASACP.
“Because of AI, ASACP can continue to send confirmations to people who took their time to report suspect child pornography. If an email address is included in the report, the individual will receive an email about the results of this review. This feedback loop lets concerned individuals know that the ASACP Leads Reviewer reviewed the submitted reports and educates them on what is not child pornography,” said Joan Irvine, Executive Director, ASACP.
ASACP is an organization helping the adult site industry make a difference in the battle against child pornography. Over 4700 sites that are taking a stand against child pornography proudly display the ASACP logo. If you are interested in learning more about ASACP or helping in the fight against child pornography, please view the ASACP site (ASACP.org) or email Membership@ASACP.org.
