(TUCSON, AZ) — “While this quiet desert town may best be known for its Wild West roots, big tit aficionados may well refer to Tucson as the epicenter of the Wild Chest movement. That’s because for more than a quarter century, Big Top Video has been pumping out big boob videos from this southern Arizona city.” So writes journalist, Acme Andersson, in the July 2003 business section of the prestigious AVN magazine where he reveals that the success of Xavier Productions’ own Big Top Video and Big Top Digital is even bigger than the breasts it boasts in its movies.
“Other companies can’t go back like we can. They don’t have the history that we do,” a representative from Big Top tells AVN, citing that big-titted babes of the ’90s like Busty Dusty, Tiffany Towers, and Kayla Kleevage became stars from their movies with Big Top and that even today, hot commodities like Minka and Kim Chambers started with the company founded by AVN Hall of Famer, Sam Xavier, in 1976. “No one has the selection and the size that we do, which is our biggest [selling] point. You can’t find what we have anywhere else. Our accountant thinks we’ve now sold more than 4 million [videos]. If it’s a fetish, then it’s the biggest one in the world.”
These days, aside from turning out new product that is going back to Big Top’s roots of “quality and big tits and natural,” their subsidiary, Big Top Digital, is now steadily remastering and releasing their entire library of the past twenty-fire years on DVD. AVN notes that they have released nearly 100 titles on DVD to date, shipping three titles every month. By September, their DVD library will have increased another 36%. They do all their own authoring and digitizing in house at the rate of 8 DVDs per month.
