I just wanted to drop you a note and give you an update on what’s going on with Sin City, Sin City’s PR Department and myself – personally.
Sin City
Sin City had hired Kylie Ireland to take over PR & Marketing Responsibilities. Contrary to a recent e-mail sent by Kylie, there were no real differences as to the direction of the Publicity Department. Basically, Sin City was looking for an "In house" PR Person and Kylie, who has other ventures, understandably wasn’t interested in an "In house" full-time position. End of Story.
Sin City’s PR Department
The Sin City PR Department is still intact and will be handled by several people. I will be handling all press Releases and the weekly generation of an Electronic Sales Newsletter. All other Media/press related questions or comments can be forwarded to Scott Justice (SJustice@SinCityFilms.com) who will then delegate the questions/request among the proper "In house" personnel.
Me
I have cutback my Full-Time "In House" position to pursue other "mainstream" business ventures. As I had mentioned, though, I will continue to compose and distribute all press Releases and the weekly Sales Newsletter from my office.
