A Word of Caution from Freedom Distributing: We may be some of the last to know but we were advised today that Dexter Sales declared bankruptcy on March 5th by "Irwin" of their accounts payable division. If what "Irwin" said was true, our loss was approximately $2,000. Other distributors are cautioned about sending additional product to Dexter. You do so at your own peril.
It’s kinda crazy to see large distributors like Dexter and GVA and others who have fallen into economic hard-times when the adult industry is so alive. The message to us all is to be very careful when extending credit because it sometimes becomes an economic vortex that even the largest of companies can’t extricate themselves from. Additionally, be sure to take care of those who do pay their bills and are serious business people.
Dexter’s thing was, from what we hear, they moved into a new facility and while they were financially vulnerable, the regulators came in to make their lives a living hell which they shelled out to several of their suppliers such as us and others.
