Dear Free Speech Coalition Member,
The deadline for this year’s lobbying and political action training seminar is February 14th. If you have not already done so, I urge you to look over the attached program description and consider the value to you or your key employees in attending.
Please contact the FSC for a .pdf version of the flyer and see how it points out that every day each of us is serving as an ambassador of our industry to the public, making decisions about product, distribution, content and many other critical business decisions. It only makes sense that the more your employees know about the laws that affect our industry and the political alignments that we face, the better and safer a job they will do for you.
For whatever reason, applicants for the Van Nuys training are March 6th are very few this year, so few, in fact, that Bill Lyon and I are forced to consider canceling that portion of Celebrate Free Speech Lobbying Days. (We will still travel to Sacramento later in March to lobby in person.)
But before we take this step, I want to urge you to join us for a program that for five years has received universal praise from former participants, who have called it “empowering” and “extremely valuable.” From Nina Hartley to Jeffrey Douglas, graduates have expressed their appreciation for the experience.
