(LAS VEGAS, CA) — A great turnout and laid back atmosphere was the story at the AIM Healthcare Foundation Auction, held Thursday January 9, 2003 at the Gameworks complex in Las Vegas. A special night turned out even better with thousands of dollars raised for the AIM Foundation.
AIM founder and hostess for the evening Sharon Mitchell graciously greeted the guests and put a great deal of thought and effort into getting donated items for both the main, and silent auctions. Items up for bid included photos, t-shirts, calendars, autographs, DVD’s and worn articles of clothing.
Auctioneers included adult legends Amber Lynn and Brittany Andrews. Amber, in particular spent lots of time and effort to try and get as much out of the bidders as she could. The “main event” were the special tickets to the AVN Awards Show that gave bidders the rare and unique opportunity to sit at tables with the likes of Amber Lynn, Bridgette Kerkove, and Nikita Denise. The AVN ticket saw bids reach upwards of $300 each.
