(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) — Top porn star Jenna Jameson can be seen this evening on Entertainment Tonight talking about her recurring role in the hot new NBC political drama, “Mister Sterling.” Jenna, playing herself having an affair with a politician, makes her first appearance on the show tonight.
It is the latest mainstream outing for Jenna, who was dubbed by Rolling Stone as “The woman who put the star in porn star.” She has appeared in Howard Stern’s “Private Parts,” in the Comedy Central movie “Porn ‘n Chicken,” on top selling music videos with Eminem and Korn, and on dozens of television news and magazine shows.
“Mister Sterling” is getting positive reviews from television credits. Typical is a review today in the journalism insider Webzine “Media Life,” in which reviewer Dan Jewel says “while “West Wing” is limping along these days, as worn out as Trent Lott after a sensitivity seminar, “Mister Sterling” has energy and enthusiasm to spare.” in its review of the program, Entertainment Weekly magazine said, “porn star Jenna Jameson turns up in a brief scene playing herself; her bikini suggests she may have already won two Golden Globes.”
The show stars Josh Brolin (“Hollow Man,” “The Mod Squad”) and is the creation of Emmy Award-winning writer/producer Lawrence O’Donnell, Jr. (“The West Wing”) and airs on Friday nights. The all-star casts includes James Whitmore (“The Shawshank Redemption”), Jackie Brock (three-time Tony Award winner) and Tommy Doyle (“Boy Meets World”).
