(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Award-winning director James Avalon’s critically-acclaimed Les Vampyres 2, hot on the heels of picking up an AVN Award for Best Couple’s sex Scene – Film thanks to Nikita Denise and Joel Lawrence, is about to be unleashed on DVD in a special two-disc collector’s edition.
“It’s probably the hottest DVD that Metro has ever put out,” says Frank Goldfisher, DVD Coordinator for Metro Interactive. “It’s packed with awesome bonus features, and the best menu set-up we’ve ever had.”
Bonus features include segments discussing the history of vampires and how to detect and kill them hosted by Denise, two never before seen scenes that were edited out of the original movie for being too violent, 5.1 surround sound, and regular bonus features such as a blooper reel, photo gallery, behind the scenes footage and more.
“This is probably the best looking and best sounding DVD that we’ve produced,” Goldfisher adds. “We decided to give Les Vampyres 2 special treatment because we’re following up on the popularity and just how awesome Les Vampyres 1 was. James Avalon has taken this story to the next level, and we felt that we needed to take the DVD to the same place. We’ve absolutely accomplished that. We’ve really put a lot more effort into the project as a whole and try to do something that the consumer can consider valuable.”
Les Vampyres 2 picks up where the first left off as a gang of female vampires continue their terrible rampage, but this time, with an unexpected twist. Centuries ago, Veronika (played by Syren) killed the male lover of her lesbian blood-sucking friend Lilliana (played by Misty Rain). Now Lilliana has come back with a vengeance, and she’s out for blood – Veronika’s.
“Hands down, this is our best DVD yet,” says Sam Nelson, general manager of Metro Interactive. “This is where the future is headed, and as such, we wanted to utilize all the bells and whistles the medium can offer us. The DVD of Les Vampyres 2 will exceed customer expectations, and raise the bar for future adult titles on DVD.”
