(LAS VEGAS, NV) — The first rain of the season in the desert greeted Internext attendees on Tuesday morning, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirit. All indications pointed to a successful show this time around. The three day run occurred January 6-8 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas. Games, Giveaways, and Girls were the themes evident this year.
A couple booths had a “game show” theme with prizes awarded to contestants in a Jeopardy style game. Some easy and some tough questions along with challenges thrown in made it an entertaining place to stop and rest and watch a few people making a fool out of themselves.
In what looked like a return to the Internext shows of the 90’s, valuable prizes were given away in drawings open to the public. A car, a Harley, and a trip to Munich, Germany for Octoberfest were all won by lucky attendees.
And the girls! What would Internext be without the girls? Seen in and around the show: Aria Giovanni, Jenna Jameson signing at the Hustler booth, rising star Felix Vicious, current Hustler centerfold Dreama, new video star Taylor Rain, and one of the most popular girls on the internet, Taylor Little who was there representing Lightspeed.
As an extra bonus, Playboy.com put on a bikini contest each day looking for new Cybergirls for their website. The competition was fierce with many of the girls working the booths entering each day, along with a few porn girls thrown in for some entertainment. Celebrity judges ranging from famous photographers to the current Playboy Cybergirl, Amy, mulled over the tough decision each day. The daily winners and runners up received $500 and $300 respectively. The Summer Internext dates were also announced, mark your calendars for August 1-3, in Hollywood, FL.
