(LAS VEGAS, NV) — More than 160 exhibitors are expected to take part in the world’s largest adult Internet trade show, Internext Expo 2003, January 6th-8th at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. A highlight of the show is expected to be a seminar on spicy amateur content that is increasingly popular on the Web.
The number of exhibitors is up by about 30 from the last Internext Expo, held in Florida in the summer of 2002, and pre-registration by attendees is up by about 10 percent, according to show manager Renee Johnson. “We are expecting a very strong turnout for the show, particularly since there is lots of interest in new rules regarding credit card processing and other marketing issues,” she said.
One seminar that has attracted substantial interest is the “Amateur Roundtable” sponsored by HomegrownCams.com. “The upsurge in erotic videos and Internet sites featuring amateur performers has been a powerful growth stimulus for the adult sector in recent years,” according to Spike Goldberg of HomeGrownCams. “The amateurs continue to fuel a substantial portion of the content on the adult Internet and the personalities of these sites have changed the face of online porn forever,” he added.
At an Amateur Roundtable seminar (Tuesday, January 7th, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) the webmasters will discuss new marketing techniques and related issues. The roundtable is one of more than a dozen seminars being held at Internext.
