(HIGHTSTOWN, NJ) — Pleasure Productions’ contract girl Gina Lynn continues her mainstream crossover with her latest project. Over the weekend, Lynn landed the starring role in superstar rap sensation, Eminem’s music video for his single “Superman”.
“Superman” is one of the singles in Eminem’s Album, the Eminem Show, currently ranked number 15 and continues its streak of 29 weeks in Billboard’s top R&B and Hip-Hop music charts. The album was released under the Interscope label on May 26th of this year and has achieved multi-platinum record status as early as September selling over 6 million copies since its release.
Gina plays the love interest of Eminem in the music video and appears in almost the entire length of the song. Her scenes include a love-making scene, a fight and a part in the video where she lip-synchs some lyrics of the song while it plays in the background. The video was shot at the Standard, a Downtown LA studio. The whole shoot was done from 4pm on Saturday and ended the next morning at 10:30.
“Gina was scheduled for a store signing at Carolina Video in Wilmington when she got a call late in the night from Eminem’s people. Apparently, Eminem saw Gina in the movie Analyze that and told his people that he wanted her to be in his music video. Without a clue as to who Gina was, his people tracked her down within seven hours. A few hours later, she was flown first class from Wilmington to LA to shoot the video. We are very happy for her and expect this to skyrocket her popularity even more.” said Pleasure President Frank Kay.
“It all happened so fast. It was unreal! I felt like I was dreaming. Eminem was very nice to me. My cameo in Analyze that really paid off. I would like to thank the people at Pleasure and the owner of Carolina Video for understanding the situation and allowing me to rain check on my appearance at this store. The owner was a very sweet gentleman. He told me to go ahead because this was an opportunity of a lifetime! ” said Gina Lynn.
The music video is scheduled to release in January.
